Get ready for a night of fast-paced, physical and unapologetically unpredictable stand-up when Robert Zapata takes the stage at Spotlight 29 Casino.

Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Zapata has built his comedy around the absurdities of everyday life, combining sharp observational humor with an animated, highly physical performance style. A longtime fixture of the Southern California comedy scene, he is a paid regular at the legendary Laugh Factory and has also performed at The Comedy Store and Improv comedy clubs.

Over the course of his career, Robert has shared stages with comedy heavyweights including Paul Rodriguez, Jon Lovitz, Arie Spears and Dane Cook, while taking his act beyond Los Angeles to clubs and venues throughout California, Las Vegas, Texas and even a USO performance in Okinawa, Japan.

His television and film credits include SiTV’s Inside Joke, the Latino Laugh Festival, LATV’s Loco Comedy Jam, Primos and Lean Like a Cholo. In 2026, he returned as a guest on comedian Felipe Esparza’s popular What’s Up Fool?podcast, where he was described as a high-energy veteran of the L.A. stand-up scene.

On December 4, Robert brings that energy to the Chairman’s Lounge at Spotlight 29 Casino for a night of big personalities, physical comedy, wild observations and the kind of live stand-up that simply doesn’t translate through a screen.
